2. New Upgraded - DLC Black - Harder & Tougher Than PVD
There are two main options which can be used to coat steel, PVD & DLC coating. DLC or Diamond-Like Carbon, is a different way to use the PVD process. The main difference being that instead of spraying on a group of metals, DLC uses a form of carbon. Once the carbon is blasted onto the surface, it is cooled down extremely quickly, which is very similar to how synthetic diamonds are made.
3. New Swiss Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 = 60% Better performance than before. Now the lume will glow for brighter and longer than ever before.
DLC is a process which makes the steel harder and more corrosion resistant with a thin film of Carbon. Other benefits include increasing wear, scratch and corrosion resistance making its durability far superior to conventional coating methods such as electroplating or powder-coating.
3. Sapphire Case Back

The Maratac™ SR-35 Mid Divers Automatic watch is privately designed. The SR-35 is Maratac's newest mid size watch into the hacking ( stops the second hand when adjusting the time ) movement market.
The SR-35 features a unidirectional 1 hour timing bezel. This watch is made to exemplify the purest form of time, which provides a simplistic feel to the watch. The SR-35 utilizes a Seiko NH-35 24 jewel movement known for its superior quality, accuracy and of course it's hacking feature. This movement provides up to 40 hours of power reserve when not in use.
This mid size watch is ideal for both formal and casual events, and is built to last with it's robust sapphire domed crystal.

Smaller than I thought. Happy nonetheless. Always satisfied placing orders through County Comm.
County Comm shipped the watch very quickly. They provided both text and Facebook messages about the status/updates with my order.
Really liking the watch. It has been keeping excellent time, and is a very good "first fancy watch".
Beautiful looking watch. Not too big, and surprisingly not heavy on the wrist. I bought the black and orange band to go with it. Really compliments the orange Maratac logo on the watch face. The manufacturing of this watch for this price point are unbeatable. The coating, sapphire crystal, 120 click (super tight) bezel, the only thing that is different from this to the $1000+ watches is this one is a Seiko movement instead of an ETA or Siletta. Don't be fooled though; this watch has gained only 12 seconds from my cell phone over 14 days. That's better than my Ball Engineer Chronometer certified by some muckity mucks in Switzerland. For this price point it's unbeatable. Right now it's on my wrist as my favorite watch. It's beating out my Oris, Ball, Omega, and Tissot. My second favorite watch...Maratac big Pilot with the Miyota movement. Miyota is a bit less accurate than the Seiko in the SR-35, but for what they cost, you can get them for everyday wear, and they're attractive enough to keep up with the big boys. Bravo Zulu Maratac and County Comm
I had the stainless version of this before the black one and liked it very much. I put it on a Strapcode Endmill. It looked really nice on that bracelet.
A friend of mine had his automatic Traser die on him so I gave him my stainless SR35.
I missed that watch after it was gone and told myself that I would get another one if CountyComm ever released another DLC version. The black SR35 always looked cooler in the pictures, so I snagged one when they came out again.
No regrets, the black version is even better looking to me.
I have a black Maratac silicon deployant strap that I have used with both the stainless and the DLC versions. It looks nice with either watch. If you like straps instead of bracelets the silicone, or even a nato, strap looks good with this case.
I prefer bracelets, especially with divers.
I put it on a Strapcode Hexad Oyster and it really added to the tool watch look of this piece.
This is one of my favorite watches in my modest collection. The face on these is really unique, a bit Sinn-like.
The price has jumped to $399 now. I got mine before the price increase and had a 10% coupon on top of that. Not sure if I would still do the same purchase and strap switch at current market price.
Then again, I might, especially if I missed the boat on the DLC versions one too many times. This watch/ bracelet combo is killer. Very eye catching and expensive looking.
I received the SR35 DLC very promptly. The fit and finish is excellent! The bezel is very precise and the clicks or detents engage with purpose. I don't have an opinion on the Lume, however it glows brightly after exposure and it looks to be applied very carefully (it looks nice). As far as accuracy is concerned; I have only been wearing the watch for about a week and a half. When received, I hand wound it fully and have been wearing it every day and letting it rest at night in various positions. I have been keeping track of the watches break in process using an app (WatchCheck). There had been some wild swings, however the watch seems to be settling down in a favorable way. Except for my childhood, I am new to mechanical watches. My last few have been low maintenance solar atomic G's. I have been enjoying the analog/mechanical virtues of this watch and it's accompanied personality. As of late the watch has had an average of +1.6 s/d and it started with a -7 s/d. The watch still needs to settle in, so only time will tell (pun intended). I will update at a later date.
