Brass Lighters come in: Split Pea, Peanut, and Peanut XL
After the outstanding response we received with the Standard Peanut Lighters ( Titanium and Stainless Steel ) our staff members wondered what could be done to make it better. How about Brass for silky smooth threads and a germicidal reducing properties.
After numerous responses and requests with the Standard Peanut and Split Pea Lighters our staff members wondered what could be done to make it better. The answer is make it bigger and also increase the size of the spark wheel for even easier use with and without gloves. These two changes make a dramatic difference in extended runtime and versatility of use in any condition. The XL Peanut Lighter is also perfect for extended trips where you will need more than a few days of firestarting.
love the lighter. the only complaint i had was that it did not come with any instructions on how to fill (i'm not a "zippo" guy). a quick google search solves the problem, but that's why i give 4 and not 5 stars.
Bought the split pea which was smaller than I expected but is the perfect size. Extremely happy also gonna buy the peanut as a gift for for my dad he loved mine but wanted the size up
A but heavy for EDC but like the capacity and reliability, and non-leak after filling and closing. Easy to grip and light, even wearing gloves. Large capacity fuel, spare flints fit in back under first wad (felt?)

I bought the split pea with high expectations and it lived up to the hype.
Construction: This little guy is made WELL. It's sturdy, waterproof, and has great craftsmanship. The key chain hole and split ring on the top are surprisingly sturdy.
Fuel capacity: The split pea carries plenty of fuel for a non smoker... but I'd guess if you smoke a pack a day the split pea last you the entire day. If you buy the peanut then no question, it would last you an entire pack.
Wow factor: You gear heads out there may not need a lighter every day. Me either. But this lighter pays for itself by being a cool conversation piece.
I can't get over how small the split pea is. I prefer a small keychain and this lighter fits right in taking up almost no room at all.
Great lighter, fluid does not evaporate. Fire when you need it.
