Using a single Duracell AAA battery we got the following results:
We do not recommend the use of 10440 rechargeable batteries with this flashlight. It is designed to use a off the shelf alkaline, lithium, NiMH or Nicad AAA batteries. We do not recommend use of higher voltage batteries. Any attempt to modify these lights will void the warranty. We know when you try to remove the pill...
I had 2 already and lost one. Ended up buying 2 more. I love these flashlights. Maratac needs to make a maglite sized copper flashlight.
This combination really can't be beat. The modes are right in the sweet spot, the emitter is great, the footprint is tiny. This came out of the package, went in my pocket, and has been there every day since. I haven't owned every AAA light on the market, but I've owned several, and I researched specs on quite a few before picking this one.. You can find brighter, you can find cheaper, but you'll have a hard time matching this value.
