A Note From The Legal Department: We do not recommend the use of 14500 Rechargeable batteries with this flashlight unless its an Eneloop Cell. It is designed to use off the shelf alkaline, lithium, NiMH or Nicad AA batteries. We do not recommend use of higher voltage batteries. Any attempt to modify these lights will void the warranty. perfect for working overnights in the medical field. uses the same AA battery as a standard pager. the lowest brightness level works well for medical assessments and the mid-high beams are bright enough to search houses or accident scenes. small enough to fit in a uniform pocket or in a small edc kit. mine gets carried in the keychain edc pouch offered by countycomm with a “ton-a-tube” carrying extra batteries.
