Our development team is consistently using rulers and we are constantly destroying rulers. That will now change thanks to the new Titanium pocket rules from Maratac®.

Made from solid Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5 aerospace Titanium with outstanding benefits:

  • Titanium Rulers resist bending. Titanium is very flexible. Once you have a bend in a stainless ruler, it’s trash.
  • Titanium Rulers resist rust. Sometime we expose our rulers to caustics that end up destroying the markings and then the ruler.
  • Markings are engraved into the titanium.
  • Titanium Rulers are Non-magnetic. This means metal chips and grindings will not stick to your rule. If you are a MRI Repair Tech, this feature is priceless.
  • Titanium rulers are 45% lighter than Stainless rulers of the same size.
  • .k for everyday use.
  • 6 inch - 15 CM titanium Ruler
  • 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/32nds & 1/64th inch to decimal conversion on back
  • Deep Etching for long life and superior accuracy
  • Flexible and portable for everyday use

Excellent Machinist's Rule

This rule is made very well, from first impressions. Features I found of note: 1 - striations engraved deeply; 2 - Rule graduated from flat end in both inches (64th's) and MM (often ruler graduations and markings do not increase together from the same end); 3 - The graduations start from the very end of the ruler (no extraneous space for either measuring inches or MM; 4 - The obverse decimal equivalents are for 8th's, 16th's, 32nd's, and 64th's; 5 - All markings are extremely legible, even reflective (hopefully, if only an ink, they will not wear away, but the legibility is impressive); 6 - The 1 CM wide ruler is 1 MM thick Titanium alloy, and while it flexes, it is strong; 7 - There is a nice hang-hole on the rounded end of the rule in a blank area. However, there is no sliding pocket clip / reference bar typical of machinist's rules included, nor a slip case. All-in-all, a good value for a precision machinist's rule made from Titanium.

Love it but damaged in shipping

It shipped in a plastic bag and arrived bent. I got it almost 100% straightened out, but if you're listening, CountyComm, if you have to ship in a bag, cool, but if there are multiple flat items and one or more might bend, maybe you could tape them all together so they support each other. Would ve 5* otherwise!
