Gen 2: Now clearly notes "Titanium" which is laser-etched, on the front center based numerous customer requests
The Covert Titanium Lock Pick Manipulation Card is both compact and versatile for all EDC needs in the field or at home. The kit is laser cut from a single sheet of Grade 4 Titanium with amazing .001mm precision for ultra smooth corners and clean design.
The kit has an adhesive backing which can be stuck together to a credit card to make the kit completely blend in with your wallet if ever inspected. ( Check the pics for an example )
Don't use it for any lock that is not on your own property or without approval, as the user is responsible for any doors you may unlock...
Amaze your friends, while preparing for your new career as a locksmith.
.3 Ounces - Grade 4 Titanium
3.35" x 2.12 x .024"
Includes an adhesive neoprene backing so you can easily use any tool you need from the kit and put it back for future use.
The foam backing, while seeming like a good idea, makes it much thicker and attracts lint, also a pain to get off
Should have bought two, as I can't eval the tools without separating them from the card. Aside from being very thin (which can sometimes be an asset) the tools have very similar profiles to other, more costly tools in standard kits.
I've been waiting for this for a while and finally got around to purchasing them. They do not disappoint, pretty much exactly what I expected. I'm not sure who wrote the bit where you can easily use these and put them back in the place because of the neoprene backing. I wasn't expecting to do this in the 1st place but that is a complete impossibility. Just getting these things out to begin with, there is no way not to destroy that backing in the process. And then you have some work in front of you getting the glue and backing off the picks that have been removed.
I always wanted to pick up a set to try. Great to have in my kit. Started off learning how to use it on an old Master padlock from work that had no key. About 20 minutes in I popped the lock. So I locked it and did it again in less time. Going to keep it around to practice on. Want to practice on house locks but need to wrap handles or heat shrink them to make it easier on the hands. I do not think I could have gone for round 3 because my hands were pretty sore.
Very happy with purchase. Very durable! Going to trim/file frame that held tools to use as another turn lever.
It’s a nicely made lock pick set. While it isn’t the “professional” version, in a pinch, this will do the trick. The titanium adds strength to an otherwise small tool. The individual picks can be a little difficult to remove the first time without tearing up the foam backing, but you only break them loose once. This set/kit is easy to store in a wallet or a zippered nylon storage pouch that Countycomm sells. This is something that belongs in an EDC kit.
