The Awesome Roll Up - Non Slip Project Mats are used by military and civilian small arms armorers to keep all those pins and parts from rolling off the work bench and getting lost. The mat features a wide recessed channel groove all the way around to prevent anything from rolling off into the unknown too.

These mats are perfect for all sorts of work and I have several. The glow in the dark color is superb for lots of daily use, even when it isn't dark. The almost white shows up almost anything you place on it.
I'm a big fan of Gitd products, and especially for the line-up of CountyComm. This workplace mat measures 11" x 18", or 27,94 x 45,72 cm for fans of the SI like european residents. Its golf-ball like texture prevents items from rolling around. It's very useful for organizing the workplace desktop.
When I opened the parcel, the mat was rolled up for stability in transport. It took some time before it lay flat. Turning it upside down helped.
I also got the versions in "international orange" and "battleship gray", which are equally awesome. Of course, a version in "zombie green" is clearly missing ;-).
Now I need a bigger workshop...
I'll use mine to upgrade the "eyes" on our "monster house" Halloween decorations later this year. The brightness and longevity should make these perfect for that application. For now I'm using them in the intended role (project mat) and they work great for that, too. These would make a great nightstand topper, but I prefer to keep my bedroom as dark as possible.
Great glow, tons of uses.
As someone who has tried many different manufacturers, CountyComm glow products are by far the best on the market. Charge time, and luminance time are both WELL above the industry average so when the jumbo mat came up I had to pull the trigger. Takes 2-3 days to rest as it comes rolled up and that’s the only negative I have. Great silicone construction. Thick but not cumbersome. Drip channel if you had oily or small rolling parts on it. Bonus that it lets you know if anything gets moves as all items leave evidence based on the glow. Great fun addition to any workbench or office space.
