Yes, the folks here at CountyComm are different than most. Here is our new favorite game in the break room. We have been practicing the age old art of "lock manipulation" as a game among coworkers competing for the best time to open the lock. Here's a game that is fun and will teach you valuable skills.
The game includes one set of tools and a clear practice padlock that really helps you understand the workings of a simple multi pin padlock and is packed in a heavy water resistant pouch. There's room in the pouch for other tools and practice locks as your skills improve (and they will).
Amaze your friends, while preparing for your new career as a locksmith.
Includes Small Maratac™ R-PVC Case
so I got this set and it works amazingly well especially for beginners each pick and hook are very well made as is the lock the pouch I like a lot and will defiantly be using for edc all in all a great product
Very good entry level set. Pair this with some videos from youtube on the basics, and you're off to a good start.
As usual, County Comm is a great company to do business with, no hassles and quick shipping.
I don’t know much about lockpicking, so I was surprised to find that I was picking the included training lock within 30 minutes of opening up the package. I figured that it was probably because the training lock was deliberately easy, so I went out and found that I was able to pick the lock on our side door to the garage. Only downside was that I almost got one of the tension wrenches stuck in the keyhole.
For $20, you get a real appreciation for how locks work, for well made locks, and for how easy it is to pick “low security”/cheaper locks. There are probably sturdier, more varied kits out of there...but this is a pretty great starting point.
