On The Go Bit Holder - Non Slip
On The Go Bit Holder - Non Slip
The Silicone Bit Holders are just what you need to keep 37 of your 1/4 inch screw driver bits organized and available for use in the field or on your bench.
Why are On The Go Bit Holders so cool?
They are made of a solid block silicone with chemical and heat resistant properties. If your bit holder gets greasy or dirty, just rinse it off with soap and water.
Bit Retention: The bit holes are tapered into the block of silicone. We do not use magnets for bit retention, because they that collect metal filings and debris. The bits are held firmly in the holes. When you need to go mobile, just push the bits in a little deeper and they are ready to travel in your tool bag. If you should accidentally drop you bit holder, the silicone absorbs the impact and limits your bits from scattering all over.
Available in two flavors: High Vis-Orange and Glow In the Dark. Both work well for daytime and low light work.
Two Bit Holders fit perfectly in the small parts tray too ( As shown in pictures )
Size: 5.6" x 1.3" .75"
Note: 1/4" Bits Not Included

High Level Summary: I like it, and if you need such a thing, do buy it.
Have a look at https://youtu.be/Vi4Wzveedhk to learn about Railer Bitrails, which inspired me to make my purchase.
The CC product is more cost effective when you consider how many more bits this thing can hold. For people like me, who are particular about their bits, it’s all about the rail. I doubt that the ones which come with the Railer measure up to my Wera bits.
I was able to easily modify your product to clip onto my tool bag, but I am also planning to wear it on a lanyard around my neck. That way it will always be close and a short trip from my chest to my face, so that my aging eyes can see better which bit to pick out.
Your product’s holes are not through holes (as are Railer’s), but I don’t think they need to be. Short bits come out fine when pulled out, so there’s no need to push them out from behind. Anyone who wants through holes can always drill your product out. I would make through holes for long bits, which I’d center into your product, dangling out on each side of it.
1. At Harbor Freight you can buy 10 very strong round magnets. I made the experiment, and yes, one of these pill-size magnets can be forced into the bottom of a hole in your product. That means that even if the silicone rubber wears out such that the bits become uncomfortably loose, wedging a magnet into the hole fixes the problem.
2. I have 2-inch wide sticky Velcro tape, and applied some to the product so that I can stick it to appropriately fuzzy surfaces. I admit that my Velcro tape doesn’t adhere very well to silicone, so at each end I clamped the Velcro onto the holder with a cable tie. You could probably engineer a stronger bond, if you decided to productize a stick-on version of your product.
3. In the future, if I decide I don’t need to carry 30+ bits with me, or if I decide I prefer smaller-capacity CountyComm “railers,” I will cost-effectively start with your current product and slice it into smaller morsels. I could leave one morsel international orange and put Torx into it. Then I could spray-paint the other morsels different colors, to make it easy to pick which bitset is needed for a particular project (slotted, Phillips).
4. Mechanics who work out of a metal toolbox or cart should take your product as-is and simply screw it to their toolbox/cart with a pair of panhead sheet metal screws.
Having all your bits and drivers rolling around loose in a box or bin is no way to live. This bit holder is great on two fronts - it lets me get things organized in a way I will remember, AND it holds all those little guys nice and snug until I need them. I like the high viz orange for helping me find where the heck I absentmindedly put it down This time. And it washes off clean and shiny.
I like pretty much anything in glow-in-the-dark, and the price was right, especially for one that helps me find my way around the garage!
IF YOU OWN BITS THAT COME IN CRAPPY CASES PURCHASE THIS. AN AFFORDABLE UPGRADE WITH CC QUALITY.
Keeps everything together and glows in the dark, so no matter how much wine I’ve consumed I can still differentiate !
