I don't like writing reviews, but I have to say that this bag is extremely handy. I travel a lot and I travel very light. This gets tossed into my ruck and it is put into use regularly.
When I first saw this backpack, I saw an immediate use for it. I keep some emergency supplies in my truck just in case. What if I need to abandon my truck and walk? How would I carry these supplies?
This particular backpack is the answer. It folds up nice and compactly so it can be stored behind a seat, out of the sight of potential thieves, but when unfolded it has enough room to hold the supplies that I need it to.
After seeing how well it is constructed, I ordered three more for people close to me. I foresee myself giving these backpacks as Christmas gifts.
Traveling? Foresee a need for a backpack? Toss it in your suitcase and you have the backpack option.
You will not regret this purchase.
This thing is great to leave in the truck as a “just in case” bag. Seems durable, but I would like to see a separate organization pocket (maybe with loop for adding hook panels) rather than a through port. Also, a mesh bottle holder on the outside and a sternum strap would make this bag excellent for a stowable day pack. Some very light padding on the upper portion of the shoulder straps would go a long way as well. With these additions, I would definitely buy one for each of my vehicles and for family and friends. As it is, I would still recommend for limited use.
A very handy backpack that folds conveniently into a very small package. It seems a little flimsy--I wouldn't trust it with anything too heavy. However, if the material were thicker and stronger, it probably would not pack down into as small a package and wouldn't be as useful overall.
