Here’s another handy County Comm in-house tool that is being brought out of the shadows. Our in-house design team made these picks for their use, and we find them so handy that we wanted everyone to have an opportunity to have one.
We find this solid titanium mini scribe/awl/poker just the thing to remove o-rings, scribe lines on small projects, adjust buckles on metal watch bracelets.
Some may even call this a pocket toothpick, we won’t it is so sharp and pointy the thought of putting in our mouths scares us a little.
Closed Length: 2.5”
Overall Length: 3.87”
Weight .14 Ounces / 4 grams
It reaches in tight places, strong enough to handle tougher tasks where other similar tools would fail. Marks cut lines on wood or softer metals.
I wasn't sure what I'd use this for, but titanium tools are cool so I got two of them. Just a few days after I received them, I was using it to untie knots in small diameter cords used as zipper pulls on my tents and backpacks, so that I could add CC's UGM Mini Markers to make the zipper pulls easier to find. They work great for that application. I'm sure I'll find many more uses for them. I added CC's nano titanium split rings to the TI Picky's mounting hole so that they could be easily attached to a key ring or whatever. CC products never disappoint, and their customer service is out standing.
Great little toothpick PLUS it can double as a device to allow you defuse a situation and escape.
This toothpick is so well made that I just keep it in my purse or pocket. I know that I can probe a field specimen and not worry about losing it during an on the spot inspection. A very rugged tool of the trade that makes me happy.
