The good word about our Titanium tools is spreading. We were asked to make these specialized 1/4" hex bit drivers for a large aircraft manufacturer to include in their tool kits. We have fulfilled our contract, and now we have some extras to sell.
They are Grade 5 Titanium, and super cool. They look and feel like the precision aviation tool that they are.
Philips: PH0, PH1
Straight: 1/8", 3/16"
Hex: Metric 3mm, 4mm
Torx: T5, T6, T7, T8
Q: What's different between these, and the ones we sold to XXXXXX?
A: The ones that we sold to the not to be mentioned by name, aircraft manufacturer did not include any bits, and were marked with their part number. The ones we are selling here are marked: "Titanium - CAGE: 5VKB6".
I have polished mine and it looks like a piece of chrome now, you can trade out some of the bits for ones you might use more often and have a very handy assortment close at hand!
Like everything I have from CountyComm, the quality is top notch but the price is so reasonable! There is no comparison between this and the cheap plastic bit storage screwdrivers - this will last multiple lifetimes. I liked mine so much I bought one for my brother-in-law who is an aerospace engineer. The bits that come with it are nice but I swapped most out for different ones I use daily including a 1/4" drive socket adapter.
This is a nice handful, it comfortably fits in hand without being slippery. The magnet is strong enough to hold the bits when in use. Very good buy
This tool just has a cool factor but it's also perfect for your gun range tool box the bits that come with it are just what's needed for scopes and scope rings plus you can use any of the bits being made out there. So this has a place in my range box.
This is a quality and unique combination screwdriver that fits in the hand well. The magnetic screw-top storage compartment securely holds 10 bits. The entire tool is void of any machine marks with exception of the interior compartment where circular lathe marks are visible. The magnets for storage are strong, hold a variety of bits secure and the bottom magnet works great for mounting or picking up any loose items. The bits themselves are ok and will work fine for simple jobs. I replaced the bits with ones from Milwaukee and these bits fit fine without issue. Overall, this is one of, if not, my favorite screwdrivers. This would be an excellent stocking-stuffer or Father's Day gift. This tool would also be perfectly at home in a small motorcycle or mountain bike kit.
