The good word about our Titanium tools is spreading. We were asked to make these specialized 1/4" hex bit drivers for a large aircraft manufacturer to include in their tool kits. We have fulfilled our contract, and now we have some extras to sell.

They are Grade 5 Titanium, and super cool. They look and feel like the precision aviation tool that they are.

  • Over All Length (without bit): 7.25"
  • Shaft Diameter: .44"
  • Shaft Length: 3"
  • Weight 7.4 Ounces
  • Handle: Non-slip Golfball Pattern (providing 300% more gripping surface), 1" Diameter
  • Magnetic bit storage in the handle holds 10 included bits.
  • Bits Included:

Philips: PH0, PH1
Straight: 1/8", 3/16"
Hex: Metric 3mm, 4mm
Torx: T5, T6, T7, T8

Q: What's different between these, and the ones we sold to XXXXXX?
A: The ones that we sold to the not to be mentioned by name, aircraft manufacturer did not include any bits, and were marked with their part number. The ones we are selling here are marked: "Titanium - CAGE: 5VKB6".

Few Year Review

I've been using this for a while and here's my critique:

-The feel is solid, but not unreasonably heavy.
-The texture has a nice grip, yet easy to clean off grease.
-The magnets that hold bits in place are plenty strong.

-I do wish the magnet on the end of the removable bit storage cylinder was stronger so it could more securely hold itself on the surface I stick it to.
-The drive end has deformed a tiny bit from dealing with some tighter-than-usual screws. It still works, but now if I remove a snug ****, it does like to wedge itself in there sometimes. I think one inch of steel to serve as the driving end of this screwdriver would add minimal weight but a lot of strength to this high-stress area. Even a sleeve inside the drive socket to help prevent this deformation.

The biggest fix, honestly, I'd actually prefer a hexagonal/octagonal handle. Anything with flats just so it doesn't roll around so easily.

Besides those details, it's a very satisfying piece. Feels quality, performs well, looks great. The threads and o-ring glide super well with a little oil/grease, and I've had no real problems with it. Nifty tool and it fits all the bits I need to work on my dirt bike too, so it often comes along for rides.

Forever Tool

This is a forever tool. Polish it. Oil the threads. Add your favorite quality bits. Get a 4mm micro bit adapter. Use it. Make sure nobody steals it.

Titanium Screwdriver

Strong, solid and well balanced
A very nice, high quality titanium tool from Countycomm. I love these titanium tools a bunch, I just wish they weren't so expensive. I understand why they are though. Quality isn't cheap.
