Like the dude on Motor Trend TV says about a Porsche 911 GT2, "Do you need this car?, no.. do you want this car?" I really liked my black pendulum pen and debated whether I wanted to go for the extra cheese and grab the TT version. I'm glad I grabbed this one. this is not the EDC pen, it stays on my desk where I can admire it and I always know where it is. this was a want, not a need for me but I am glad I grabbed it before it disappears forever like too many great CC products do. good job CC
Great pen, finally found one I like.
Wonderously grippy. Slightly "sharp" but it won't hurt you. Can run steel wool/scotchbrite pads on it to polish the edges to make them softer. You can use sandpaper too. I'm fine with this little buddy as it is however. Now I need to practice tying cord loops and braids so I can give it a lanyard - Been a few years... The pen writes well. It does take a few twists to get it out but that makes it more secure, so it's just fine. No ink stains on your legs/in your jacket/impaling your pocket and creating a hole... The list goes on. Titanium itself has a bit of a "grainy" feel as you twist. This applies to the flashlights as well due to the material - The products are not at fault for this, it's quite difficult to engineer titanium in such a small, functional form and as a result it has that, "grainy" twisting. There's nothing wrong with it.
Also, this pen takes the full-sized Fisher pen refills which is a huge plus. I'm a small man with equally small hands but it fits perfectly, just the right size and I will never have to worry about it slipping out of my hands in the rain, snow or whatever else I'll find myself writing in. Always have a pen on you! It'll slide just fine onto a keyring if you'd like, too.
Well made and light weight. Love the size for the Maratac 4x6 notebook folio.
Great Pen, case not so much.
The pen is well constructed and designed, with a good length and grip for a small pocket pen. The use of the Fischer Space Pen refill is a very nice touch. It would have been nice to get a clip but not a fail to not get it. The delrin case is a nice idea but it is WAY TOO TIGHT A FIT and thus goes in the drawer.
It handles just fine
It is a great handling pen but needs an alteration. Courser threads, and a clip slot near the lanyard loop.
I use a pen minimally at work but always carry one, it would be a great addition to my carpenter jeans with a pocket clip and faster action.
