The Pen Dock is well made made, and finished. I have multiple types of CountyComm pens and they all fit fine in the top five holes. The larger Embassy pens fit in the side holes. However, the weight, or lightness of the titanium is not sufficient to remain upright with a brass Embassy pen without heavier pens in the top holes. Maybe an aluminum pen would be fine. My wife has misplaced the one I got her so I can’t test. It. I would suggest the brass pen dock if you want to use the side holes, as it weighs twice as much.
Certainly fit up to 5 pens nicely, as for the sides, not really so unless your pen sizing is just right. Nevertheless, it really nice and have a weight to it. Even without putting the pens, it is still nice as a display dice.
I got this one and the brass one (I have an affinity for both metals,) I keep the "basic four" colours of pen in the brass one, and the "basic four" colours of pencil in the titanium one. Keeping the basic colours near to hand, just a quick reach and grab - is well worth the price of admission! (The centre spot on one with pens is used for my titanium self-defense tool, and the one with pencils is used for my lead pointer.
It's also handy having yet another potential self-defense implement within easy arm's reach at my desk, with all the time I spend there...
A useful pen holder and paperweight. Also good to throw at coworkers heads to get their attention.
I love this. It's very small, weighs enough to stay put, and holds pens securely. I have several Karas pens in mine. Just received a second one. I hope they keep making this holder--it's very cool.
